how scary is this game?
I have no issue playing traditional horror games like I don't know resident evil, dead space etc. they don't bother me in the slightest

but when it comes to indie psychological horror, it is sometimes too much for me
what I see on the store page looks great and not too much, but obviously I dont know what else is in the game

I think the horror in the game should be accessible to most people, and if it's too much for you, you'll probably have a sense for that before the refund window closes :)

Okay, thanks for the answer from the developer themselves :D
I will give the game a chance!

I played for an hour and I must admit, it's very stressful at times and hard to continue. I don't know why, but these types of games really get under my skin. It's super cool though and I would love to continue... but I think I shouldn't...

That's okay! Thanks for trying it out and happy holidays! ^^

I couldn't stop thinking about the game, so I wanted to continue. I finished one playthrough. I played with a very small window, quiet sound volume and often looked away, it's a little hilarious how much some pencil drawing and sound effects can affect me. Anyways, it's a really cool and unique experience, thanks for making the game! I kinda want to know what else is there in the game, but I think I'll leave it at that :)

It's like i said some time ago:

All agreed it'll be around 4/10 scary...except for their sound team. They understood "40",,

As a big fan of horror, I didn't find it that scary. It was scary in an exciting way, where I was looking forward to the next scare. If "The Strangers", "Hereditary", and "Haunting of Hill House" are a 10/10 (they are for me), I'd agree this is a 4/10. I don't mean that as a criticism, I assume that's the level of horror they were going for and it was well done. But I was more driven by the "WTF" nature of the story than the horror.

My girlfriend also enjoys horror but is more prone to scares, and she did cover her eyes a few times. To her credit, I went out of my way to chase down the most horrific storylines.
