Report a translation problem
We've gotten reports from a few other Linux players about various issues w/ the game (I'm assuming it's because Linux builds/OS can vary so much?) Running the windows exe through a virtual machine seems like the most consistent fix, but here's a thread on GOG of extra steps users have taken there to get things running a little more smoothly.

I've made the choice at the end that I won't kill her but I can't let her free. I've taken the blade and sat with the princess after getting back to the cabin and I've exhausted the explore options before committing to resetting everything. It goes back to the start but the achievement doesn't trigger
i think you have to choose an option. had the same "problem". sadly cant remember which option. if i have to guess, try the "proceed to cabin"-option
Just got it, I left it to the last thing to do so I didn't even think to proceed, thanks for that!
I have some fresh save files and will take a deeper dive later this week. Apologies in the meantime. If you load a slightly earlier save and pick any option that isn't [slay the princess] from that menu, you should be able to progress.
Small issue for an awesome game though.
On Steam Deck when using the dpad or joystick to navigate the dialogue choices, when the list is long enough to scroll, sometimes the selected item ends up being outside the visible part of the list. I can (carefully) select it using the touchscreen in this case, so an annoyance not a show stopper. Sounds like the same thing Miketopus is talking about above. Otherwise, the game is great on the Steam Deck.
Very minor -- I think I just found a possible typo/grammar error in a Narrator dialogue line:
Capillaries burst and muscle fibers tear as you and the Princess struggle over the reigns of your body, one foot planted firmly on the edge where the floor ends and the nothing begins.
I'm pretty sure "reigns" should be "reins" here.
I'm writing the post because I seem to be unable to get two vessels linked to bringing vessels. To be more precise, the "A Thorny Vessel" achievement and "An Idealized Vessel" one. I do not really understand why they don't appear, even though I have every other one, including things like "Turning Over a New Leaf" and "And they Lived Happily Ever After", and did bring the vessel to the Mound afterward.
Any idea how to fix it or why that could have happened?
Please consider adding at least one dinosaur to this game in a future patch.
