Am I completely overlooking how to shut off crafting once started? Right now I click 'craft' and it runs nonstop until I shut off the game or run out of resources

In the top right corner you can set how many resources you wanna craft with. By default it's 100%

The is no shut off, once you start the crafting process it grabs what ever quantity of resources your have allocated (the percent bar at the top right), and continues crafting until it finishes. I think you can queue more crafting if you gather more resources. You can only speed up the process by upgrading the crafting as it crafts more at the same time.

In the crafting tab, under the yellow text there is a gray text that looks like X[Y]
X is how many quantities you have requested it to make.
Y is how many quantities you can add more to X.

Gems are difficulty enough to obtain but prestiging your early planets helps a lot as their drop is buffed as every other stat by playing on a higher prestige.

Though I did overlook this (THANK YOU btw...Making me nuts consuming everything) I guess what I was specifically looking for was a way to only craft what's required for a purchase, ie. 30k gunpowder, no more no less. Good to know it can be adjusted!
