Game keeps crashing when ever i go to somewhere that isn't the first planet

Crashing when ever i start mining now. Currently unplayable.

I was told it's due to the damage number spam. Use the drill less and focus on getting missile upgrades for now. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I was getting regular crashes when I first started playing, I managed to stabilise it to the point I could complete by reducing the FPS limiter to 30 and turning off vsync, screen shake and damage particles

My crashes stopped once I no longer needed to mine with the drill directly. For a while, I could consistently crash the game whenever I moved too fast through blocks with drills (pre drone)

My game crashes after around 5 min, no matter what i do.

I am 3 hours in and I dont have any means of mining without the drill yet. I like to listen to a twitch stream in the background and that seems to make the game crash much quicker.

Following False Realities suggestion to use the rockets worked for me, After i stop mining and only used the laser, rockets and grenades i didn't have any other crashes.

Yuh 3hours in and crashed a dozen time already I'll have to wait for a fix :x I could mine with other things than the drill but it's just not fun, hope it will be resolved

It seems to happen more when alt-tabbing a bunch. But that could be random chance.

Very annoying bug. Grr. :)

I've noticed it seems to happen less often if I turn off screen shake and Damage particles as well (although for some reason I still get what I assume are damage particles still).

I wonder if an option to turn off damage numbers from the drill would at least be a temporary fix.

yeah it also has something to do with FPS, the beta branch has a potential fix currently, let me know if it fixes it
