not sure if this counts, but dead brothers GF gets with you, other then that careful with gambling or losing fights.

Odd question, but besides the dead brother's GF...

How much of this game if focused on NTR verse your character getting to do the deed?

As I had seen some where it is just if you lose... and other games where to get the +18 scenes you are supposed to lose... and lose a lot.

Yes there is, and to avoid it, retreat from the bandits in the sealed border. Never play the game because it's a 50/50 NTR shot

Then "break" instead of "fight" when in the sealed border 3rd floor
In my playthrough I was able to avoid all NTR (with some reloading). Simply just win every fight, fortify your door, and choose break instead of fight in the sealed border 3rd floor. the only "NTR" of sorts if you want to call it, is you can romance your dead brothers girlfriend, and I don't think you even need to sleep with her to beat the game.

Darn, Ada is one of the best looking girls too. Woulda been better if the bro is alive and get to steal her instead. Welp, I guess taking widow aint that bad.

It's NTR-lite if you can call it that. The defeat scenes are just forced scenes that result in temporary mind break since you can have the defeat scenes and still get the true ending. In fact outside of a few choices that result in just a game over (and probably running out of food) it's really hard to outright get to a loss state. I was curious and hard limit tested defeat after defeat and got to 20/20 insanity and 0/10 hp and the game just let me continue to play. It might be a bug, but you do get a recovery of sanity/hp after some time.

Ultimately, yes it is avoidable and there are other comments that have the solution for that.
