Flashlight in office please????

it's genuinely impossible doing the partyroom segment without a flashlight. i don't understand why loading in from previous levels wipes your entire inventory when iirc the previous version let players cross items over to the next level. or why there aren't readily available flashlights when spawning into the office from another level without having to go through the main menu/lobby.

the segment with the radioactive water is also buggy as hell. your loot is incredibly difficult to find when you die and me and my friend we nearly softlocked for almost an hour just trying to find our ♥♥♥♥ so we didn't have to restart after already having over an hour of gameplay on that singular level. please make the spawn location above water.

furthermore, when the loot respawns near the ladder, it clips through the wall and makes it incredibly finnicky when trying to grab. the level is great and engaging otherwise but these little bugs(?) quickly make the gameplay very frustrating.

also just to add on, it's a little crazy that we had to pretty much die voluntarily ingame just so we could see the room better and guide eachother through it as best as possible since, yknow, no flashlights. not only was it a huge waste of lives that we were sort of forced into just to try and find a solution to the low brightness issue, but stops us from actually playing the game properly which kinda sucks

Full agree, me and my buddy felt it was incredibly difficult to find the gifts let alone doing it in pitch black with no brightness settings. We tried multiple things like turning up our monitors, dying so it's bright again (can't see gifts when you're dead) and so we gave up after the 3 gifts. Wasn't enjoyable. And you're right in the old version you got to keep all your gear between levels.
