The Grid?

I was going through the pool level and the part were you need the scanner I noticed a note that gives you a code combonation to open "The Grid" and it gave me four shapes - 1, Triangle; 2, Pentagon; 3, Circle; 4, Square; and it tells you to introduce the code into the main computer and when you do that the code either dosent do anything or Im typing it in wrong. Anyways somebody help me... Am I just missing something here?

In the room with the Grate on the floor, the letters are on the pillars. the shapes show the letter and the order of hte shapes on the paper is the order you need to put them in, like the pillars would have Circle = T
