The game doesn't save

My friends and I were playing until the level 2, then we leaved cuz we felt tired, in the next day the game wasn't saved so we gave up with this game u.u

the game only has check points. I't won't save your progress but you can start from the beginning of the second level.

its not a bug the game doesn't save it only has checkpoints

where is the first checkpoint?

Couldn't say, I made it to the parking garage and was unable to actually turn the valves once they were put onto the leaking pipes. Thought something was wrong so decided to restart the game thinking that a save point would have happened after starting the parking garage section.

Guess what? It didn't.

So my game put me back in the very beginning. Now I don't have the energy to start completely over after losing more than an hour of puzzle solving gameplay so I guess this game is going on the shelf and probably won't pick it up again as I don't want to have to spend tons of time playing when I know that it isn't going to save.

i even got the achievement "escape the dark rooms", and i still cant start from 2nd level in the parking garage....thats so bad.
