How do you beat the maze birthday party thing?

Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to beat the birthday party thing? Me and the 2 other people I'm playing with can't seem to get the gifts and now we just have the balloon monster chasing us around the maze until we lose all of our lives

i have to agree with them up above me but i will say i found a strat to this all.
so basically you want to have friends to play with on this part first of all as completing it without anyone's help seems impossible for me anyway
but once you have 1-2 friends you can go in there and then everytime someone dies just make sure that you guys arent respawning until either the one person completes the mini game or all 2-3 of you have died
i can explain this further. so basically whenever you end up dying there is a "rage mode" where he attacks all the players in the room till they are dead and if you keep reviving thatll keep his rage mode going for longer and making it harder to find gifts even if you already have like 1-4 gifts or whatever i think its still worth it to wait plus it in general give you more time to look for the presents.
something else to note is that sounds are crucial basically if you hear him coming towards you try hiding around a corner or running away i think this is all obvious but it increases your chances of survival and if one of your dead players is brave enough and knows where you are you might even be able to use that as a sort of point of reference to see where he is compared to yourself
