Enter the dark and enigmatic world of the "Level 931". This level will surprise you with its lighting and vegetation, but don't let your guard down, because it also hides dark and scary places full of intriguing puzzles. And beware, a dangerous new entity lurks every step you take...

You can access this level by completing the game with the escape ending.

We now give you complete control over your backrooms experience! With this update, you can now select which entities you would like to find in each level. This unique feature is a true game-changer that allows you to customize your adventure in unimaginable ways.


Enhace your experience with the new vhs filter, you can decide if enable or disable it in the game settings menu.

Hello, new small update is here!!
This is what is new:

• Now you can invite players during the game
  
• Stamina increased 15%
  
• Controller support improved (UI Navigation improved, Run button switched to RB, crouch button switched to LB, added controller sensitivity to the settings)

• [Fixed] smooth camera still for ghost players even if it was deactivated in the settings
  
• [Fixed] Ghost camera was not affected by the camera sensitivity

Backrooms survivors, we have an announcement for you!!

We are celebrating the Anniversary for Inside the Backrooms, it's been an incredible year since we release the game and we owe it all to you!

For that reason we launched a celebration event for limited time with various prizes that you can get by completing it!

EVENT DETAILS:

• The mechanic is simple, find all partygoers in the lobby level and pop their balloons by throwing darts to them.
  
  
• In order to activate the event you will need to start from the lobby level and then blow the candles of the cake.
  
  
• There will be 4 partygoers with a gift for you, after completing the event you will able to select your gift, but only one gift can be selected per game session, so if you want to unlock all the rewards you will need to complete the event multiple times.

The event will be available to play until June 30.

Hi, new small update is here, take a look of what is new:

• Improved depth of field effect
  
• Smooth mouse is now toggeable so you can enable or disable in the settings menu
  
• Some words that has missing translation are now translated
  
• Fixed some problems in the sewers puzzles
  
• Now you can change the audio speaker mode, so now you can use surround or mono audio in the game
  
• Imroved level selection UI

Hello, some important bugs has been fixed, check it out

• Sewer petrol puzzle fixed
  
• Improved metal detector feature to allow players find the keys and medallions more easily
  
• Gears in the sewer now play a sound if the gear is in the correct angle, allowing players solving this puzzle more easily
  
• Hotel keys sometimes spawns inside the table
  
• Moth sometimes freezes after attack player
  
• Weird deformations in the moth hive in the hotel are now fixed
  
• Mouse sensitivity affected by fps
  
• Now if the player fell from the map, it will respawn in the last viable position
  
• Film grain still enabled even if the option was unmarked in the settings
  
• Some rendering issues in the hotel map if the FOV was in 90, that's fixed now
  
• If the player get out of bounds in the hotel it was impossible to go back to the map

This level takes you through a spooky and mysterious hotel set in the 1920s, full of puzzles where you have to work together with other players to advance. Prepare to feel the tension as you explore every dark corner and face the terrifying entities that lurk in the hotel.

Are you ready to beat this challenging level? Enter level 5 of the backrooms and discover what horrors awaits you!

Important: To access this level you have complete the sewer level, if you already completed it you don't have to do it again.


A giant moth has been spotted inside the backrooms, with another humanoid creature that wanders the terror hotel level.
You will have to face this new entities if you want to survive in the new level, but be careful, if you see one, is better to run immediately away!

• SEWER LEVEL REWORKED
  The sewer map has been reworked, it keeps the same puzzles, but the map style has changed.
  
  
• Now you can rebind the move control keys (W,A,S,D)
  
• Fixed: Code to open the grid of the run for life level sometimes didn't work
  
• Fixed: Sometimes the petrol puzzle in the sewers removed two cans from the inventory after interacting with it.
  
• Fixed: Radiation spray smoke sometimes was not sync with the host
  
• Safebox puzzle now is more easy to solve, now you don't have to put the numbers backwards
  
• Added new hint that shows the way to the respawn door
