Anyone know how to get the secret ending?

Not sure what triggers it exactly, but I got it after getting my save file to 100% before finishing.

1) Complete the museum and collect Tau's hat.
2) After defeating the final boss, dance in front of Tau with this hat equipped.
3) Go back home and wait for the post-credits scene.

Ah shoot I 100% the game except for that last bit. Ugh oh well.
