Questions before buying! HELP

So, I have Modern Warfares, and I am interested in Vanguard. I play campaign only. I am NOT into zombies and multiplayer. I have some questions before buying and Wikipedia is not answering all. So, I'm coming to you players for answers if possible.

1/ Is Vanguard a prequel or a sequel of a COD game? Or it is a stand alone and does not require to play any COD before it?

2/ Is the Zombies mode optional? I do not want to deal with zombies.

3/ How many missions in campaign for single player?

1) You have to play all of Call of duty games before playing any call of duty game. Stories are so interesting, rich and complex your brain will explode if do otherwise. be warned.
2) No, dealing with zombies is must nowadays in cod. sometime zombies jump into even single player campaign (invasion mode).
3) Long campaign, collecting everthing, maxing out your character stats and doing all side missions, it will take 70 to 80 hours.

zombie mode and multiplayer come with the game and the campaign also comes if you need it you can turn it off and instead you will download 39 gigs but remember dlc with multiplayer and zombies you can't turn off they are not installed there but are already in the game and the campaign as dlc you can turn off if you don't need it
