Every time tried to launch the campaign the game crashed immediately after choose the difficulty. I tried many solution on the net like uninstall\reinstall the game, update drivers, update windows, delete cash files, turn off overlays, Delete ‘players’ folder change in-game vram usage but all did not work out.

I asked many Japanese, all of them who bought by steam can't play campaign.
But multi players and Zonbi are OK.
I contacted to Advision, they said they are trying to solve it, but one month past, they are just giving me the same reply.

Anybody with this issue should submit a ticket to activision so they know the issue affecting many users.

I have two PCs, I tried English, Chinese, Japanese to install the game, all have problem.
activision sent me emails asked me for these two PCs details. I think they are working on this. I hope they can solve it soon.

Did you receive the same error code?
Your case means even multi-player game, you can't play?!

delete steam and reinstall it. fixed it for me. (make sure to backup your games before deleting steam)

After reinstalling Steam, it's still not working for me.

Yesterday there was an update to the game but still same error. Appreciate devs can expedite the fix.

So, still not fixed, right? Glad (and sad at the same time) that I have refunded Vanguard on Steam...

You can just refund games on Steam if you played the game until two hours and/or you bought the game within two weeks.

I know, but I tried a lot way to repair the issue before, so it took more than two hours......
Now I can only wait they fix the issue....
It is stupid for me to do that by myself.

Do not expect to solve it as I got tired from their support as they keeping asking to do the same troubleshoots without a admitting it's a real bug in the game. It's just wasted money.
