Yeah I pretty much suspected that, so I didn't swap files manually.

Nvidia App shows for me that game is not supported for override.

I also heard some AMD users where banned for using AMD's Anti-lag feature in driver.

Did you try to appeal?

yep i tried and get permaban after, override can be activated via nvidia profile inspector

even the textures get broken by the 50 series cards, atleast on the 5090 as far as im aware

I'm using DLSS Override (+ the Overlay) since months in multiple CoDs without issues. Since you are pretty much the only person who claims to be banned because of this i think you have some other soft which results in a ban. This issue would be much more prominent if DLSS Override caused any issues.

Posting this to prevent others from BAN.

Nvidia APP shows this game as "Unsupported for DLSS override" and manual file swap of DLLs or using third party apps like DLSS Swapper will insta ban you even when playing a campaign. Game is always online and anticheat checks your files integrity on startup. If you're flagged it mostly never gets lifted as in OP case and you'll get banned for this game and flagged for their other games.

The only way to update DLSS is for Devs to patch this game, but that will most likely never happen, because they make new game each year.

Activision is really perma banning random people for random reasons. The only people they don't ban are actual cheaters that cheat in mp.

What you get is not a VAC ban though, it's just a developer ban. Only valve can send vac bans.

OP got game ban on profile (no VAC ban), and BAN for this game and was flagged for other Activation games a potential cheater.

Game should be patched to use new DLSS long time ago. Just don't risk messing with files, it's not worth it.

I think it's all because of the NVIDIA drivers version 572+, as there is an enormous number of errors, and their failures could likely have led to false triggers.

It's absolutely stupid for steam to show game bans on people's profile. Steam doesn't even know if the bans issued by game devs are legit. They just took reports from game devs then mark a ban record that permanently stays on your profile.
