does anyone know if there was a fix to the fatal error scan and repair crash?

it's been happening recently and so far my drivers are up to date and the files are good any tips to solve it would be nice

I only get this fatal error if my controller unplugs slightly. It's due to a loose cable in my end of things. Not sure if this is the same for you.
If it unplugs and plugs back in real quick it just crashes on me. Is this the same for you?

ill give it a shot playing keyboard and mouse as i have been playing on Xbox controller but it has not disconnected the times I've played and after buying i had a solid month of it being fine regardless i'ma try your idea

i noticed it stopped crashing when i moved it to my ssd from my hdd. and i also turned vsync on as well are the only changes i made and the game has yet to crash, i had a 4 hour session no crashes on zombies and a about 2 games on multiplayer.

my cold war is already on my ssd but my vsync is off ill try turning it on sadly still no solution before this attempt

another thing i did was setup launch parameters on steam and set it to launch with direct x 11

if someone finds a solution please tell em ive re installed the game like 3 times ( each on a diffferent drive such as ssd and my external drives), ive verified my files, messed w my settings, and ive been in touch with the support team but they just told me to send them my MSinfo and DxDiag info and they said they looked over it but nothing was wrong and my pc is fully up to date and ive checked my AMD software and it says im all up to dat and theirs nothing to install. i got the game on the 6th i think and its annoying that my game crashes like as soon as i get fully set up and its because it says my drivers arnt up to date even tho they are and this is the only game im having this issue with.

i went to my library and right clicked on cold war. i clicked Properties, and to the right it will have launch parameters. i just copy and pasted this in it.

i also have an AMD card. i used to be on a AMD Adrenalin pro, and i decided i wanted to change the update to the regular Adrenalin version, which might have had a play in it ? take it with a grain of salt as i don't know why it suddenly started working
