That did not take long.
But it ain't like bodies raining down on you yet.
LOL
Give it a few months.
Its not, its a lawsuit waiting to happen
It's been ages with the older games but it's mainly the zombies scene that suffers
But here people still play multiplayer actively, so this is like "i guess you should ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die if you wanna play it lol"
Daily reminder that it took them several Y E A R S before they started fixing the same problems with a few of their older games, such as BO3. And that also only happened once more and more people from the zombies community started discussing the possibility of a class action lawsuit against Activision. I'm not even sure if BO2, Ghosts and the other titles are even fixed till this very day or if the security risks are still active.
Let's see if they will abandon this game to hackers, too, the same way they did with the others or if the fear of lawsuits will manage to pressure them to act quicker than the last few times.
We, as a community, must continue to pressure Activision to finally wake up and do something. Otherwise Steam and other gaming sites and stores should immidiately remove the game from their inventory until the security breaches are fixed and taken care of. Otherwise it's just sold malware.
The system that appears to be behind these security breaches is quite interesting. Older CODs that are still doing well to this very day and have active communities seem to eventually become infested once the newer CODs start losing sales or players. Almost as if instead of providing customers with good, long lasting games, Activision prefers to blackmail older players into buying the newer ones by opening the hack/exploit floodgates after a certain point. Rinse and repeat with each COD after a while and you have a fully functioning system to pressure and hold your players hostage into buying the newer titles instead of fixing the old ones. Some would call this fraud, some would call it immoral, some would call it scummy, some would call it "reason to have the FBI investigate Activision screwing paying customers over". But what do I know.
