Is it worth buying?

I tried the new COD MW 2 but hated it. I played the Cold War when it was on open beta and liked it very much. Now as it is available on Steam, should I get it? Is it still worth it in 2023?

This Game is basically a Joe Cecot Refugee Camp. So yes, a lot of players still.

Yes. No new content but the game is crossplay w/ ps4, ps5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Battle.net, and Steam, so there are tons of players. This is Treyarch's newest game, plays more arcadey than MW, so it will stay very populated until Treyarch puts out a new game in 2024.

idk about the multiplayer, but COD: Black Ops Cold War is worth it just for the campaign at the current sale price. Best COD campaign in several years at least.

Highly recommend COD: Black Ops Cold War.

Honestly has me thinking about replaying it again today

Yes, and MW1 reboot has a similiar, issue just not as bad as here.

And to answer the question of OP. I wouldn't recommend buying it at the moment because there is hacking going like IP-grabbing and they can crash lobbies. So if you want to play the story or zombies solo it's worth it at a discount - else save your money and skip this. I don't know at this point if the companies are going to fix it or not. If they do I recommend it if not keep your hands away.
