How do you pack-a-punch a gun that has a camo on it and still use the pack a punch camo?

Whenever I pack-a-punch a gun the camo i had before stays on the gun rather than getting replaced by the pack-a-punch camo, i know there's a way to choose whether or not you want to use the pack-a-punch camo but i forgot.

Remove the camo from the gun. If you don't have a camo applied, the game will automatically apply the Pack-a-Punch camo.

If you don't have a camo and don't want the Pack camo, melee the Pack machine before using it. It'll leave the default appearance of you gun. Also applies to Wonder Weapons.

man so i HAVE to use whatever camo i'm using the entire game? that sucks, refunding this game immediately /j

Melee the PaP machine before using it and you'll pap the gun and no pap camo will be applied.
Only melee once per game as doing it a second time will make it put camos on again.

It'll keep whatever camo you have. It's good as I have blueprints that I bought and want to show off.
