Major Crashing Problem

I have only played this for about one hour and it has crashed 3 times already (maybe more i'm pretty drunk) i'm just trying to play some zombies and it keeps crashing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

No I've been asking about this since the game launched on Steam and I haven't found a solution yet. No response from the devs yet either.

Got the same issue here.
Sometimes i can play 1 MP game, sometimes i can't even open the game, it crashes instantly.
I just bought the game on steam, have it on battle.net and seems like a steam only issue.
Tryied everything to fix it but the issue persists.

Some good troubleshooting tips, but unfortunately I have tried everything at this point with no changes.

I have a 1080ti, ryzen 5 3500 and 16gb ram. The game runs great on max graphics without any interruptions, frame drops or stutters. The only problem is the crashes, It's not a hardware issue.

Game doesn't even start on Win10 e5-2689 16gb and 6650xt lmao. It started once when i reboot my pc but that's all. How to fix this bs?

i must insist that it's a "most people" issue, i'm just a gtx 1060 6gb with ryzen 5 2600, other people with rtx 3060s and high end pcs get the same issue only through steam, as i said before, i only have this problem playing through steam, battle net i get 0 crashes

I agree, I've posted my specs in other threads, but I'll drop them again:

Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS 3.29 GHz
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU

It seems i've solved the issue on my end here.
I'll list all i did until i could load up the game, hopefully this will help you all.

All i did was:
- Deleted Black ops cold war folder inside Documents (the game boots up but eventually crashed) ;
- Installed high res texture pack (saw no difference);
- Uninstalled the campaign only (the game boots up but crashed when i messed with shadows graphic setting);
- Installed the campaign after a system reboot (got no crashes from a 1h30 session, played campaign, multiplayer and zombies).

I must say most of my crashes were campaign side, but had the startup crash aswell.
I guess the system reboot and the reinstallation of the campaign did something, i'll update you guys if my game crashes again.

I'll try a full uninstall/reinstall tonight... the high resolution texture pack seemed make the problem worse on my end last time I tried.

Same here, played across all 3 game modes and no crashes for now

Ughhhh... it totally crashed again. =[

At least I got to play for a few hours uninterrupted. So wild. No idea what's causing it at this point.
