COD on PC needs cross platform multiplayer with consoles to keep a good population. COD didn't add cross platform until MW19 so I doubt they'll add it.

If they decided to port BO4 to Steam, cross-play is a huge consideration. Since all progression is bound to Bnet not ATVI account, if BO4 were to be on Steam, then they need to choose: (a) make Steam a Bnet launcher and use Bnet profiles to continue playing. (b) stop using Bnet and migrate everything to Steam. (c) Steam version BO4 has separate profile and server, which is highly unlikely for such an old game. (d) make cross-play available for all platforms.

Fun fact, Bo4 has unpatched RCE, funny since before the bo3 update they actually released some kind of update for bo4, yet bo3 is the one that is safe

BO4 is trash and is inferior to BO3 and CW in every way, Activision is doing us a favor here by not putting the game on Steam.

bo4 does exist already, but it is one of the worst games ever made. its basically bo1, but with all content removed, all good things removed, worse looking, and then new bad elements added. only good thing was the realistic mode. but it is a waste of your storage space.
