Thinking about buying? Playerbase decent?

I know it just came to steam today but is their cross play with Battle net owners? Or if you have been playing have you consistently found a game/lobby? I loved Cold war and absolutely despise MW2. Just curious if it has a decent playerbase but it may be too early for that, not sure if Steamcharts.com has it up yet.

NVM, I got a match going. I had to re-queue. Looks like it's #22 on the charts right now, so we should be good.

22 on steamcharts? i dont see it. but have u had easy time finding matches still since saying that? Itll probably be a few days before it really gets a playerbase but i miss CW so much, fukck vanguard and mw1 and mw2

Playerbase is good to go on Cold War and MW2019.

Player count is super good. It’s cross-play with all platforms. Don’t expect the game to die out anytime soon. Maybe when 2024 COD comes, because that would be Treyarch’s next game

Since MW19, all COD games have cross platform multiplayer. That has saved the population because COD used to always die on PC. I can always find a match any time of day within a minute.

Should get a decent boost in players now that it's on Steam. I even got into some party games which is rare. Had fun on gun game.

Game has crossplay with consoles as well so wouldn't worry about playerbase even if the numbers aren't there on Steam, plus original Battle.net owners of the game.
