since you can link your steam account with battlenet it is very possible for this to happen
that said, they would need to add bo4 to steam and mw2 remastered for this to work
None of them require you to have a Battle.net account. Just an Activision account.
It is 100% up to Activision if they want to give away the game to owners of the games on Battle.net . Valve has zero say in the matter.
It is not illegal to do that. Electronic Arts does this with quite a few titles. Older titles but still, they do.
Valve doesn't give two poops about it.
You just don't know how it works and that's fine.
You might as well. Just make sure your Steam and Activision accounts are linked on Activision's website.
Bethesda's launcher wasn't old and didn't have their biggest money makers like, WoW, Starcraft and Overwatch on them.
They're going to GamePass.
