2 fires
4 hourglasses
3 pointers
2 aces
1 three point
2 moons
I really thought this was gonna be the solution until the quantity of 2 repeated.
Ignoring symbols, the quantities by page are
Page 1: 1
Page 2: 1
Page 3: 2
Page 4: 2
Page 5: 3
Page 6: 3
Page 7: 8
Definitely a pattern of repeats before an addition of one, excluding Page 7. But not sure how that would help with the symbols.
Then the order for the line throughout the pages is
fire,
squares,
moon, hourglass,
ace, star,
circle, pointer, hourglass,
triangle, pointer, hourglass,
circle, moon, pointer, fire, hourglass, ace, squares, three point.
Ignoring the symbols that aren't involved in the purple puzzle, it's fire, moon, hourglass, ace, point, three point; that doesn't work.
There's a secret to it, but I didn't find it until I finished the game.
The other thing I can tell you is don't overcomplicate it, and merge sources.
Hint #2: Last page of Great Book is enough to solve purple puzzle.
