Hint on the purple puzzle with the shape symbols?
I've completed the book in the maze completely multiple times, even taking notes on the numbers of each symbol on each page and the orders. I've even taken pictures of each page's completed path and tried different purple-maze orders based on potential patterns from the book. However, I still haven't succeeded.

To clarify, I do NOT want the answer to the puzzle; I would greatly, greatly appreciate an extremely subtle hint to slightly push me in the right direction in terms of looking for a constant in the book puzzles. Thanks!

Strange, from what you said you do know what to do to solve it.

Funnily enough, this acts perfectly as the type of hint I was hoping for. Based on it, I'm gonna retry and maybe alter the methods involving the quantity of symbols on each page (and maybe the order, although I doubt it's that one at this point).

Make sure you didn't break the line in a dumb place and it feels like it didn't work at all.

For the quantity idea, I counted a total of:
2 fires
4 hourglasses
3 pointers
2 aces
1 three point
2 moons

I really thought this was gonna be the solution until the quantity of 2 repeated.

Ignoring symbols, the quantities by page are
Page 1: 1
Page 2: 1
Page 3: 2
Page 4: 2
Page 5: 3
Page 6: 3
Page 7: 8

Definitely a pattern of repeats before an addition of one, excluding Page 7. But not sure how that would help with the symbols.

Then the order for the line throughout the pages is

fire,

squares,

moon, hourglass,

ace, star,

circle, pointer, hourglass,

triangle, pointer, hourglass,

circle, moon, pointer, fire, hourglass, ace, squares, three point.

Ignoring the symbols that aren't involved in the purple puzzle, it's fire, moon, hourglass, ace, point, three point; that doesn't work.

Alright yeah, I guess you didn't realize the solution while doing the book.
There's a secret to it, but I didn't find it until I finished the game.
The other thing I can tell you is don't overcomplicate it, and merge sources.

Does it have to do with the line movement instead of the symbols? 'Cause I already tried to "merge sources" by just doing the symbols in page order (excluding the symbols not on the purple puzzle of course) and that got nothing.

By merging I meant that all the pages are the same solution. The last page of the book is enough to solve it.

Hint #1: You overthinking it. It way too much simpler.
Hint #2: Last page of Great Book is enough to solve purple puzzle.

Some say they're still working on it to this day

Yep... still haven't solved it. In my defense, I haven't even opened it in a long time.
