Cottage behind the maze

Is there a way to get to the cottage behind the maze? I got everything else.

Yeah its always just out of sight, but always catches your attention. Could be a joke, could be a challenge? who knows?

I think it's probably meant to throw you off in the maze, like maybe you're supposed to be heading towards it instead of the middle, just my theory.

It might be meant as a landmark so you get lost a little less easily in the maze?
