You wont have a slightest chance against new hero/race metas. Its their business model.
Still following this game is masochism... devs do the same imba release 4 $$$$ every new release...

I haven't played for almost a month, hoping they would release an update with a nerf for the Dark Angels in January. Unfortunately, no luck. Playing against them is nearly impossible, with almost no chance of winning. I'll wait for the nerf, but I think by then the player base will have dropped to a minimum.
They will likely get a balance pass at some point in the future.
It also makes people want to buy the new hotness when it is easy mode.
I just got back into it from not having played for... quite a while... Some things seem to have been tuned a bit so I expect the DA to get the same when they decide to get around to it.
Quite appealing to the ladder climbers to spend money on as with most things.
- Pay much money for early season meta advantage
- Play meta deck, really same kindergarten mechanics like 1000 times in a row
- Be top 20 legendary, get card back that nobody cares about
That legendary players must have the lowest dopamine levels in order to repeat that zombie like ranking grinding every season.
To make my point a little clearer just look at cards like "company veteran" with 3 melee and range, 4 heath and a cost of only 3 with vanguard and healing ability or the op of all op cards in this game "Unforgiven Redemptor" a 6 melee and range with 7 heath, 1 armor and the ability to spit out deal like crazy at only the cost of 7!!!! Both of these cards are... get this common. With that kind of power they should be legendary at minimum. There are a lot of legendary cards that don't have the power or play value of a Unforgiven Redemptor but it's common!
