What does Upgrading Cards do?
What's the benefit of upgrading a card?

You get progression points for the "Forge" for your faction. It unlocks defense / offense cards, card packs, various resources and cosmetic stuff for that faction.

Ah ok, so it's only for Forge & has no effect on the card itself? I thought the Forge stuff was just a secondary effect.
