Are pagan factions playable?

I read the FQA, and it mentioned that tribal factions are not playable. Does this include all pagans or are some like the Lithuanians and Cumans still playable? I only really have interest in Muslim and Pagan factions, and the games map seems pretty eurocentric, so I want to know before buying.

No, Lithuanians and Cumans are not playable, as yet. Perhaps down the road they will be? Right now pagan factions need to be fleshed out more, to give same experience as Christian or Muslim factions.

Per dev, the only reason they aren't playable is due to having only 100 building choice as opposed to a playable country with 600 choices.

Damn, 100 buildings are still a lot. Sounds as weak excuse not to give us to play as pagans.

They are all Tier I, split into the six categories. Tribals have no specific traits either. If you want to play as a tribal, it's as simple as editing a file, given that all data is accessible. However, it won't be officially proposed, as some people would then say they lack content.

So , will they be more polished in a future? I really liked to play a "villain" and wrecked orthodoxy - catholics nearby. They have a "scent" of uniqueness in a uniformed christian/muslim world. Going back to paganism with Scandinavians would be lovely, too.

Edit: like i very recently bought it. And it is unsatisfactory to have such a great chunk of a map unplayable all over the map - huge eatern chunk map unpolished/unplayable , all nomadic hordes unplayable.
