how did this sell worse than empires?
empires the older game had a peak of almost 500 players this game on launch coudlnt even break 300 why do people not like this game and or why is it not popular. Very concern about buying a game that no one really plays

except that argument requires majority to do or like something here i am saying no one is doing it or playing it or buying it so it cant be that good can it? Thanks for not answering the questions of why it is not played by even less than previous game. I cant find any live streams and if u go on youtube no one even making videos in the past week like at all except one guy

its been out a month. It had a lower peak than previous game and lower over all average players and i want to know whats wrong with it and or why its not as popular. II thought it was better over all than previous game. But its seems it cant really get a player base

Thanks for not answering the question

Sure.

But don't take offense. I'm just not taking you or your question seriously because conflating quality and quantity is silly.

And coming to a steam forum asking people to explain it is silly.

sorry i hurt your feelings about the game. Numbers dont really lie tho so how every you gotta spin it to feel better about your purchase is up to you. I just want to know why its not popular or doing well cuz it looks really good but it seems it barely makes any sales

He did nothing of the sort. Politely asking why sales are low is a valid question, especially when its predecessor did better. If it's a hidden gem, enough players will show up to tell him so.

According to the figures I've found, kingdoms has sold a little less than 20% of Empires total sales figures.

Not bad considering Empires has been out for 5 years and kingdoms has been out 1 month.

I could also imagine that some people lack motivation as a result of the lack of German localization.

Nobody likes Sauerkraut or Marmite or stanky ass cheese, but I do. Why would you correlate and indeed conflate the quality of game with the quantity? We're a niche gaming segment in a niche market. It sound so silly to deprive yourself of a brilliant time just because of the number of sales or concurrent players. What number would be adequate for you?

Guys, don't feed this troll.
He only seeks attention, nothing else.

I want it, but just don't have the time to dig into it right now, - out doing stuff. Maybe a buy in the winter when outdoor stuff slows down. (it is on the top of my buy list)

This^^^^

I'm old and retired, and I live in south Florida, where's its always summer, so I didn't wait to buy.

its just sad games like this never do well. its why we dont see many and or see them with good production value. Oh well maybe one day the genre this game represents will grow
