This may be the best game ever

After the sheer glory of Fog: Empires, this is likely take it to another level.

I like the Fog Empires game when combined with Fog2 for the battles. And the huge number of nations to play and buildings to make is what makes these games unusally good.

I agree, have not been this excited about a game since, I don't know, Shogun Total War probably.

ya lots to look forward to: fun tactical battles, taking over provinces and making many interesting new buildings, and tons of medieval goodness

I like FoG: Empires, but I always felt it was very gamey and floaty in many aspects. Kingdoms seems to fix many of the aspects that were weak in Empires, so I am looking forward to that.

My only regret is that late antiquity/early Middle-Ages are covered in Field of Glory 2, not FoG medieval...
Which means no "Charlemagne/Great Invasions DLC".
