I really don't care. I'm an asexual woman. It's probably a version of it they use for sites with specific rules on showy clothing
Steam has lots of NSFW games so not sure why it'd be an issue here but again, I have real problems.
Good to keep diligence.
I do hate that Steam, sometimes, treats everyone like a child, but that's just because a lot of people complain about the stupidest things (like being able to see a sliver of underwear, even though they look more like short-shorts).
Like I'll agree, this one tiny thing is so minuscule it hardly matters. But if such a tiny unimportant thing mattered enough for someone at Bamco to go out of their way and censor it, What else 'minuscule' details will they decide to censor next?
So even if you don't care about this one tiny detail being censored, if you care about the possibility of anything else being censored at all, like the continual removal of Sistermon Noir, you need to speak up, and talk about this. Let Bamco know, that censorship of any kind isn't acceptable.
This is the right approach, we need to voice that this isn't ok and we aren't going to let this slide, they start with this and suddenly you have Angewomon, Rosemon, Lady Devimon and Lilithmon wearing pants, loose shirts or an outright burkas so the game becomes a straight male humilliation ritual.
I watched this shows when I was a kid, and played the original games as a kid too, I don't need this leftists ugly people to tell me that I can not like and have good looking women in my games, get them out of my entertainment they are not gamers and don't belong here.
You're allowed to not enjoy things, but it doesn't mean you should be able to dictate what others should allow to be enjoying.
Hell, if I say guns shouldn't be allowed in video games because it teaches children to be desensitized to killing, all of a sudden I'm un-American and I want to ruin entertainment for everybody.
Everyone would be in support of censorship if they happen to be the ones that have the power to draw the arbitrary line for everyone else, but who has that power changes with time. And every time, it becomes taking a mile when given an inch.
It's happening right now. Not enough people spoke out when Japanese media was censored to fit American standards the past decade, but now, those same people that spoke out for the censorship at the time, are all of a sudden, thinking it's a problem that American media is censored to fit Chinese, Australian, and/or Middle Eastern standards today.
Sistermon Noir is one of the reasons I waited for a discount on Cyber Sleuth/Hacker's Memory over here.
You mean they doubled down over the years? They didn't learn their lesson that it's not a big deal?
