when you digivolve or degenerate, you digimon restes stas but they gain blue stats blue sts gaines=10%(stats gained from training and leveling).
for you can gain stat you need bond%, you no gain nothing if you digimon have 0%bond, and bond%=times you gain stats for digivolve and degenerate

They are never lost permanently.
The only stats thar are lost are blue stats if you do dna dedigivolve (cut in half), but redoing the dna digivolve doesn't give the same total back.

And like above was said by atkinmortal, you get 10% of the stats you gained while going from lvl 1 to whatever after dedigivolving or digivolving, and every time blue stats are gained you consume 1% of invisible bond amount (I hope the bond isn't "consumed" even if you didn't gain any stats).

And where do farm training stats or stats gained from consumables fit into all of that?
current farm design is kinda stupid.
The farm is incredibly underutilized in this game, tbh. It's main purpose is raising Bond via mass-feeding and to be a bank or trophy case of your favored Mons. Training is only done for two reasons: to fix a personality type to something actually beneficial before leveling, and as the final step in maxing out stats of a Mon you don't intend on evolving anymore (Such as from hitting the arbitary evolution limit for stat preservation).

I'm a sicko that likes the World games, and this feels so underwhelming in comparison.

Farm Training goes into White Stats, Items go to Blue Stats.

When you Digivolve or DeDigivolve you'll retain some(~10%) of the White Stats you gained from levels or training, as long as the Digimon has gained at least some Bond% since their last Digivolution/DeDigivolution.

Blue Stats are permanent unless you De-DNA-Digivolve, where the blue stats are split between the 2 Digimon you get as a result. DNA Digivolving takes all the Blue Stats of the main Digimon and a lower % of the Blue Stats of the second Digimon, and combines them.

Not only items, you can also feed digimon into a main digimon and it'll give blue stats too. Not sure how much but it deff adds to it.

I have tried to convince people of this opinion but for some reason they think Digimon World 2 was a waste of time and not this, just because they have the DigiFarm.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Digimon Time Stranger! But the weird design choices Bandai took in regards to digivolution since Cyber Sleuth/Hacker's memory (not including the DS games) is just a huge paradox and not optimally thought out to say the least.

Are you actually only gaining some temporary white stats in farm and no blue stats?
If so, then that would be absolute BS.

So technically short explanation: You lose white stats upon digivolving unless your blue stats are that stupidly high, you can roll them over to your next generation.

Long explanation pending in the edit......

So your white stats are basically your base stats and these increase as you level up your digimon. Your "talent" (max level cap) can be increased by:
- hitting an enemy's weak point.
- finishing off an enemy.
- winning a battle without taking damage.

Through the DigiFarm and Load Enhancing you can improve your Digimon's stats even more. But load enhancing has an additional function!

Tested out the farm, yeah seems farm only gives white stats, guess digifarm is pretty much useless unless you don't want to (de)digivolve, like for example Mastemon or for meeting stat requirements.

I think the whole system is whack. Cause waiting for time to expire or spend money through the Digifarm to speed things up is made redundant cause you lose your stats initially when digivolving anyway.

Load enhancing will need A LOT of Digimon to enhance and is the motherload of grinds, that will actually make the grind of Digimon World 2 look like cakewalk because of other advantages that one had some quirks/exploits that game had when you DNA Digivolved.
You want to load enhance because that will pump up the blue stats (cumulative stats), the cumulative stats basically work as a multiplier upon your white stats.

It's that all the Digimon branch into eachother these days since the implementation of Cyber Sleuth so you can always De-Digivolve and Digivolve back again, so you don't have to encounter and scan Koromon or Agumon if you ever want one.
Never been a fan of this design since it's made the "brand" a bit lazy.
