10% stat blue number
What is this based on? If i digivolve/involve with a stat at 9999 the blue number does not increase of 999.

Idk, but I think thats based of inheritance stats from other digimon you fed them as XP...
I'm talking about the mechanic explained in the tutorial about the 10% increase. What does the digimon fed have anything to do with that?
It is based on the digimon's raised stats since level 1, which is why you will never get 999 stats(blue) from 9999 stats(white) when digivolve
I'm not totally convinced i'll try it out with some mon and get back to this, but it means that it is very poorly written in the tutorial. What i did notice about feeding is that 50% of the blue stats of the ones you feed gets transfered even if they are a level 1 200% scan (since they start with 100 blue stat to HP).
If you raise your Digimon’s stats to 9999 on the farm, those stats won’t be carried over.
So out of curiousity (because this kind of confuses me) once you get the digivolution that you were aiming for and get your base stats to 9999 from the digifarm training, then do the blue stats no longer matter at that point or do they still contribute?

ex. Say you get 9999 Base ATK but you have 1500 cumulative, would the cumulative still apply and give you more damage?
You should never rely on tutorial in jrpg because everything in kind of vague in tutorial on jprg game you should rely on dataminer.

Blue stat increase based on stats mons get when leveling up and/or training from digifarm and the amount increase is based on 10% of bond so if yu have 10% bond only 1% stats from leveling up and/or traning in digifarm will be added to blue stat but if you have 100% bond 10% stats from leveling up and/or training will be added.

But remember your max white+blue stat can only get 9999 so even if you have 8000 white and 5000 blue stat you total stat will only considered 9999, someone on reddit alrdy have biyomon level 1 with 9999 white stats and 98999 (yes 5 digits) blue stats.

Yes, it doesnt go over 9999 stats(white), blue stats is just for increasing the base stats of that particular digimon. So a 9999 stats(white), even with 1500 cumulative will still give same amount of damage. Which is why most people will say that blue stats doesnt actually matter, since every digimon can just train at digifarm to 9999 white stats. The only problem is just that once you digivolve, most of the stats will be gone.

The bond doesnt affect the scaling of blue stats gained when digivolving.
It does however affect the number of times a digimon can gain blue stats from digivolving.
You can try it this yourself.
1. Take a digimon with 0 bond. Give it a Courage Point(item), digivolve to a certain digimon.
See that it gain 0 blue stats.
2. Reload save file and use the exact same digimon. Give it the same Courage Point, and 1% bond via Friendship(item). See that it gain some blue stats
3. Reload save file and use the exact same digimon. Give it the same Courage Point, and a larger bond via more Friendship(item). It can be, 10%, 50%, 100% bond, and see that it gain the exact same blue stats as previous.
4. Reload save file and use the exact same digimon. Give it more Courage Point, and make it the same bond as step 2 or step 3. See that it gained more blue stats instead due to being at higher level(higher gained stats) when digivolving.

Does that mean that you can, in theory, handicap your Digimon by digivolving and devolving them too much?

Let's say that you just digivolve as soon as you possibly can and then digivolve to do the same, is it possible then that your Digimon will have very weak blue stats, and "Used up" all of the bond digivolves so that it can't get stronger?

Just started playing this yesterday and now wondering if I should hold off till max level to digivolve every time or that doesn't matter.
It's 10% of your current white stat (without accounting blue stats) - your level 1 white stat (without accounting blue stats), or 10% of you stats gained from level ups and farm training might be easier to understand.

So if you have 9000 HP (but blue stats of 8000HP), that means you have 1000 HP, and if your HP at level 1 was 900 HP, then you have 100 HP gained from level ups/farm. If you evo/devo with Bond available you will keep 10 HP as blue stat. If you farm train and get extra 500HP, then you have (1500HP - 900HP) 600HP gained from levelups/farm and you will keep 60HP on your evo/devo. etc

In theory yes but in practice no, you can get infinite blue stats from the load enhancement feature, and when you are done changing forms you can use digifarm training to get max stats in everything. So there's no need to hold off or keep track of the amount of evo/devos left for normal gameplay.
