Didn't get one hit kill on bobo?
I'm trying to one hit kill Jester God Bobo but it's pretty hard. Read somewhere that if you hit him once and then survive to the end of the fight you should get the achievement? I did it and got nothing. Was this fixed or did my game bug out?

Update:
So turns out that Jester God Bobo, unlike other fights that can be one-hit and then allowed to end on their own (such as the toilet) does indeed require you to drain all his HP in one hit.

To anyone reading this in the future here's some advice from my one-hit:
- Bobo is weak to green (If you have a spear with heavy attack, use it)
- It's safer to learn his first faze and one-hit him there (before he transforms).
- The zigzagging green attacks give 3 charge USE THEM.
- clover artefact is recommended for the 10% dodge chance.
- I'd also suggest figuring out the bare minimum amount of hits needed for this one. A good way is to record 3 times how many attacks you absorbed and the damage dealt, then have AI calculate the approximate amount of absorbed attacks needed to one-hit him.

Jester Bobo is a looping fight, it doesn't end until their HP hits 0. You're probably thinking of the abyss AKA "Shaman"

I got it an hour before the latest patch.

No, this isn't the looping one. When it goes for long enough the fight ends and it puts me in some new area. There's a smiling mask thing at the end and everything.

Different dialogue too. Bobo has a line about "I think I don't actually want to win."

Yeah, that's the one. I've spent ages trying to get a good enough combo but I can't see through those damn fireballs man. Another post did say you can just hit bobo once and then let the fight finish but that didn't give me anything.

God yea that fight is brutal. Still working on it myself and those fireballs suuuck. I find the side jump is the best way to handle them instead of trying to sneak past them due to the visual clutter the flame effects give it but still no easy task.

The flames are actually colorless notes and you can absorb them, took me so long to realize that, still might be easier to jump roll them though
Way I did it was single-loop with blue notes with the Katana (Blades would probably work a lot better). As long as you're good at dodging and stacking up notes, you don't need to worry about the weakness. Would advise against going into second loop because of the alternate screen effects, but if you need to, you need to.
