I'm softlocked in a black void (Spoiler Warning)

After killing the Jester God, the root of evil showed up and basically jump scared the screen and gave me a code to the torment realm. However any time I try to interact with the save now, it places me in a complete pitch black void with no music, but I can endlessly run around and move. Is this intentional or did my game somehow bug out?

To add onto this devs if y'all ever see this. I watched a walk through to see what I did wrong, and I think what messed it up is that one of the times that I hit retry during the Bobo fight (since I was trying to one hit him) it messed the game up because I did it when I saw the root of evil appear since I figured it was going to end the fight early. Because of this, it threw me into the area I was supposed (where you try to find sam, raven, and irvine) however the background wasn't black and instead was playing the fight against Bobo as well as playing the music, making it very disorientating. But when I found everyone and went to the left like you are normally supposed to, it just dragged me back into the fight with Bobo and restarted it.

With how close I am to the end, is there any way for you to fix my save or do I have to completely restart again?
