Game freezes and crashes
On my setup the game freezes and crashes repeatedly. First accounter was at the ability shrine on Doberkogel. I was not able to continue until I locked the frames to 60 FPS, which looked to solve the issue. However, I still get random crashes, mostly when I spawn (not explode, just spawn) the large explosive ball, lots of particles are on the screen, or when early in a region. All crashes where in the overworld maps, but not in the city.

Is this a known bug? Otherwise, I can give some more feeback if required.

Hey there Ni Mand, can you please type out what exact set-up you are using? Due to the fact that your game crashes entirely when under heavy load, I would suggest checking if your PC will also crash when using any kind of a benchmark tool, like FurMark

I have observed no issues in 3D benchmarks yet. The setup is:
- AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
- MSI MEG X570
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
- 32 GB RAM
Game is installed on SSD, system runs Windows 10, all drivers were updated the day I wrote the initial ticket. I have all graphics set to high, but the frames locked at 60 FPS. Locking at 30 FPS btw didn't produce any crashes.

The issue with the freeze was only reproducable at the ability shrine at Doberkogel. Other unique crashes were when going upstairs at the start of Hinterwald and on the small island in the lake at Doberkogel where the dungeon entrance is located.

I'm also having the game lock up (sometimes resumes), stutter hard or flat out crash when starting it. No aspect of my system is even remotely strained by the game, yet it does this.

After the patch, the bug is still there. I have accountered it fewer with the newly updated Nvidia driver. However, now it's back.
