how come the first rainbow six is different on the ps1?
I had the very first rainbow on the ps1 loved it and the other day i was in the mood to play it so I bought it for the pc. straight a way i notice it's like a different game all together! the first mission is compltley different start and you can't see your weapon on the pc version

how come the yare so different?

is there a detailed comparison anywhere?

so sorry for the unrelated post but i can't find anywhere to write this that isn't a dead forum

Probably because PS1 was back then a " children-toy " and still is. So they made the game more " comfortable to play " for children.

I think it's more to do with the technology limitations of the day. Don't forget they had a totally different version between PC, PS1, PS2 and Gamecube for the old Harry Potter games too. TBH this post was asked in good faith and your response is just condescending and not helpful.
