How to join multiplayer?

I used to play this around a year and a half ago. Now I can't seem to login at all. I tried to create a new ID but of course it takes me to an old Ubi page that isn't even around anymore. Is there any way for me to join multiplayer again?

Well...I just saw that Ubi has taken down the servers for this game. Is there any site with unofficial servers to play on?

Did Ubi take 'em down for good, or do you think they're making room for Watch Dogs temporarily? I don't know how this works

Well I was able to get in. It's strange, it says they took them down, but all you have to do is sign in with a UPlay name.

I still get a "USER ID NOT REGISTERED" error message when I try to log in with my uplay account (formerly an ubi account). I've verified that the account name is correct, as I'm able to log in with that username on uplay.com.

I imagine that the servers left standing were authentication servers and directory servers (for finding and displaying dedicated servers). If ubi does actually shut those down, we might need a patch to bypass authentication for online play.

Edit: I just changed my password on uplay.com to make it shorter and remove special characters. That did the trick for me. It looks like the legacy authentication system does not support complex passwords (though uplay.com does). Hope this helps.

Thanks for explaining that Will. I'm just glad I can keep on playing Raven Shield online some more lol This game will hopefully never die.

I had the same problem, and It was frustrating because I knew the password was correct and both of my friends were able to connect. We were sucessful hosting and joining online last night though, if you run into problems trying to connect through the server browser join the ip directly.
The ports used by the game are TCP/UDP 7777-7787 and TCP/UDP 8777-8787.

How short is the password? Which characters are allowed or which ones to exclude? I have the error message USER ID NOT REGISTERED.

I just tried and the servers are working.

You need to use your ubisoft uplay account name as login (not email) and password.
I had to enter the CD-key upon trying to connect to a server, and then it worked.

edit: my account was previously linked to STEAM because I have other ubisoft games though.
