You can also press ALT ENTER to go fullscreen.
Your GPU might not support the menu resolution. You might have to wait until you load into your game. Then press ALT ENTER. Then hit ESC. Then ESC again and it will set to the proper resolution.
The menu resolution is hard coded to 640x480 or 800x600 which some modern GPU's are not set up to support anymore. However, the optional resolution you set in your options menu (usually 1920x1080 works nice) does take affect once you actually start up a mission to play. So therefore the workaround if your GPU is experiencing that issue while fullscreen would be just to leave the menu smaller in window then go fullscreen when playing after loaded in.
Bit finnicky but that will work.

Hi there! Thanks for posting this workaround here, it's much appreciated.
Black Noise would you be able to confirm if you've been able to give the steps above a try and if the full screen issue remains?
Should you require further help with this, please let us know!

If I set that to False and disable integrated graphics and only use nvidia GPU, then the game launches in window mode and I can click around normally and it all works. However, the mission actually launches in another window and I need to Alt+Enter to get to fullscreen. But here, the game runs slow like in slomo or with crazy lag.
If I set StartupFullScreen to True and disable integrated graphics and only use nvidia GPU, then the game launches full screen but when I move the mouse, some selection bar gets drawn and I can't click on any menus easily as the mouse is positionally shifted.
The only thing that works for me well is this -
* Enable integrated graphics
* StartupFullScreen=True
* The Viewports are set as below - 1920x1080 for the main game
With this, the game launches in full screen and everything works and plays well. The only issue is it runs on Integrated Graphics card and not the nvidia GPU
The game seems a tad slower when too many Incendiary Grenades (from SupplyDrops mod) are launched but apart from that it is very playable.
Gaming Laptop is from 2016 (P57 Gigabyte) with nvidia GPU GTX 1070.
And MSI GL75 Leopard from 2020 with nvidia GPU GTX 2070.

Black Noise - may we please know how you're getting on and if you've been able to give these suggestions a try to see if they help you too?

This is the exact problem I am having and it's driving me mad!
Seems ok in window mode, may have to work with it that way.
Edit StartFullScreen=True in Ravenshield.ini

You can also try the patch: https://allr6.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?id=91 (after this edit StartFullscreen=False to True)

I can function currently with StartFullScreen=False then using ALT ENTER to go full screen at 1920x1080.
Only problem being when I go back to the menu on the higher resolution. I get a large window and the display errors start again. Will have to avoid doing that.
I only play old games nowdays - wish they all worked properly!
Would it of benefit to run a VM on say, Windows XP or are the video problems strictly hardware related?
Cheers.
