Can't get borderless windowed mode to work

I have edited the ini file to StartupFullscreen=False and have my borderless window software turned on, but I have problems once I get to the menu. The cursor looks like a blue selection square and when I get to the mission briefing I can't start it because my mouse goes off screen along with the video box that should be in the briefing menu.

I'm afraid Rainbow Six: 3 doesn't natively support a borderless-windowed mode

While 3rd party programs may achieve this, this isn't something we can advise on I'm afraid

Only fullscreen or windowed are available depending on the True / False setting in the .ini file for 'StartFullscreen'

Thank you for the reply! I am trying to play it in a normal windowed mode, but the in game window is not perfectly centered and is being cut off on the right side of my monitor. I do have the .ini settings set to 1920x1080 for my monitor, so I am unsure what the problem could be.

Things to try...

- Press ALT ENTER when you are at the Main Menu or at any time in game to switch between full screen and windowed mode. Note... some peoples computers and Windows 10 prefer that you Windows Key + Tab and click on your game that way instead of ALT ENTER.

- Try the optimization patch from http://www.ALLR6.com that might help.
- Run Ravenshield.exe with compatiblity for Windows Xp and/or Admin.
- Close other windows when playing the game.
- Turn off second monitor perhaps if you have one.

For me the best thing was simply to use regular fullscreen mode with ALT ENTER. Note that the in game menu resolution will not change HOWEVER your in game actual resolution when you are playing will be whatever you set in the options menu :)
