Hey there!
Yeah, this is definitely one of the tougher fights in the game, but I believe it’s beatable with the cards you’re guaranteed to have by this point.
A few tips:
- Pay attention to enemy intents—it’s super important for playing turns in the most optimal way.
- I’d recommend dealing with the damage-dealing drone first.
- The shielding drone is mostly harmless as long as it doesn’t have too much Shield, so try to keep its Shield at zero.
- Having a Patch-Up card in your deck can be really helpful for this fight.
- A card that stuns, like Pommel Hit, might come in handy too.
Good luck!
I killed the attack drone on Turn 1, and then the Shield Drone on Turn 2 (which I started with like 9 energy). Then when the big guy was about to do his big attack, I just used Stealth. I used mostly basic cards, I think the only card I got that required taking an alternate path was Upgrade.
What was your deck makeup for that fight? Stealth cards have been very scarce in my runs. It would be very helpful for a tactical breakdown on the most efficient deck to use. There aren't any tactical guides out there that I've spotted.
Rapid Charge / Flowing Renewal / Focused Slash x3 / Proper Patch-Up / Strong Uppercut x2 / Reinforced Defense x2 / Focus Body x2 / Reliable Follow Through / Blitz Attack x2 / Still Blade / Unseen Advantage / Leave No Evidence / One More Dance / Optimal Shuriken / Augmentation
Stealth only from Unseen Advantage but the deck cycles and gets energy so fast you should usually have it when you need it.
Infihold Capacity Module and EnerFlow Feedback Booster also important for Cyberware.
If I could give the devs any advice it would be to nerf the fight into the ground. The game is mostly about story and there's no reason to halt somebody's progress unless they chose the play an optimal build.
