BUT WHY IS IT 20€
WHY THE ABSOLUTE EVER LOVING FU

Was hoping for a streamlined SFH experience, but it turned out more bad than good. Still, this is a newly released game and I think it could receive a little bit of an improvement to its existing features to make this game great like its old glory. For anyone that plans to buy the game, here are some of the points you should consider before purchasing:
1. The game is a little bit overpriced compared to what it offers. Considering that the price of the game is enough to buy one and a half SFH, or even two, I would say this price is a bit... sketchy ? With this price I won't question if the game is a bundled remake of two or more games in one experience, but when compared to the original game's free price this remake feels a bit pricey.
2. Guns are a bit frustrating. You don't have that much control over your weapons like you have in SFH 1 2 3, partially due to the extended sliding mechanism (which is inconsistent and I have no idea how it triggers), but mostly because your accuracy is NERFED. Now there's a lot more things that will ♥♥♥♥ up your aim, from recoil (more noticeable than previous titles), movement, and simply the flat nerf you have, which is most noticeable with a sniper rifle. Your reticle is as big as an elephant most of the time, and unless you are crouching + using Assassin perks while sitting still as a duck on the water, even hitting people now feels like Sniper Elite. 90% of the time you will never have a head-sized reticle, and even if you miraculously have somehow (with an accurate gun), you'll also need to consider its range. Sniper rifles have massively reduced range: they can shoot past the screen before, but now most snipers will have ranges that stop barely on the edge of your screen which obviously won't help with catching people trying to run away from you.
3. Campaign is great, but feels more like a cash grab. The campaign section has a massive improvement over previous titles, but it still has logical and gameplay flaws. Besides the main mission line that you have, now there will be a series of secondary missions that branch out from the primary missions (like side missions in SFH3). The thing is, these missions are very repetitive and the rewards are just not that worth compared to its difficulty. Another "honorable" mention is the shop and the slot machine, with both of them just near 100% of the time giving out junks, especially the slot machine itself. Do not pour your money on the slot machine and take the gamble.

RQ I was in love with these types of flash games back in the day as a kid (help im only 18 sounding like an whole ass unc)
A trip back to the "old days", but its mediocre at best atm. (fyi ik this is a small team so im not that dumb and ignorant that this game is not as picture perfect as back in the 2000s, im genuinely giving feedback, ik they are trying their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ best ILYFTBOMH Sky9 (19,50€ is kinda crazy tho but alright))
- weapons feel and play weak and slow (compared to SFH1/2/3)
- primary weapons need way more spare ammo
- npc's sometimes/often have broken script/ai
- medkit- and ammo pick-ups could respawn faster (not a must) and more spawners
- side-missions give few rewards and could be seen as "waist of time"
- campaigne sadly too short, lil bit repetitive and fast-lived, and that this is SFH1 & 2 combined in one game
- set the max level between 100-250 for more replayability (max. 30 is to low imo)
+ cinematic scenes are surprisingly great and charming voice-acting (some scenes (rarely thought) corny or forced)
+ maps and animations are gorgeous for a 2d side scrolling unity game
+ skins of weapons and soldiers are mostly good quality and fun
+ title screen and UI is clean, smooth and modern

In conclusion, this game (or game series) has potential and so much to improve (either for up-coming updates or sequels) and im hyped for the future.

The thumbs down sadly, because I'm leaning more to not recommending the game at its state at the moment; pricetag is debatable.
