Why Dark Souls Combat?

Why do so many games copy the Dark Souls Combat system? Even in games that are just supposed to be fun? Souls-like games make me feel like a woman boxer literally fighting against a man. I just want to quit, give up. None of this is worth the effort. I feel like the Rocksteady Free flow combat System would have been better suited to this game. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying and I'm sick of every game trying to be a Souls-like I swear you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will look back on these design decisions with regret coz you're all making the same dumb ass game. You're all Dark Souls modders to me.

It's really does not have DS combat. Why do you think it is?

It's fast-paced, incentivises you to rush enemies, guns are a pretty substantial part of combat, parry and plenty of skills which are aimed towards execution. If I had to guess I would say you are fighting August.

No stamina, dodge/parry cancel almost any mid-attack animation, 50% shooting. How is this game "Dark Souls combat system"? Just another fast paced action game basically.
