Is there a way to remove CENSORED bars on chainsaw attacks ?

From what I've seen on YT the underlying animation is not really good. The "CONSORED" bar sometmes gets bugged and does not appear.

i was actually wondering this too. they have no issues showing gore, but the chainsaw animation is censored? kinda lame.

I know this post is old but agree, no reason whatsoever the game should be censored on the PC version (at least not in United States or anywhere else like here that allows blood and gore in games). If anyone knows how to disable the censored on-screen pop up, please do share with the community!

The 'censorship' bar is not there to censor.
It is to hide the fact that the chainsaw go through enemies as if they were holograms without causing visible damage.
It's a lazy animation, a true reflection of what the entire game is.

thread full of people who do not understand a stylistic decision, crazy to think that the censor with the chainsaw is real when you spend the entire game graphically slicing limbs off people with every gritty detail shown
