This game reminds me of...
WET (2009), due to seemingly being a janky action game with a female protagonist.
I'm still on the fence about buying though, so are these two games comparable? If they are the same or this is even better then i think i'll get this one.

It does remind me a little of WET. They do not play the same though. This game has much better melee combat and faster gameplay overall.

Ahh good call. Nice memory jog.

The game is seemingly targeted to people who enjoyed all the over the top action games from the PS3/360 era at least.
So i gather that the vibe is just the same yeah?
Im sold just on that alone lol, thank you for the responses.

Yeah but even if you look at it like that, Wanted Dead still isn't very good. I'd rather boot up my 360 and play the edgy Dead to Rights reboot or Metal Gear Rising.

I remember that game. Feels like one of the last products I ever saw in a video store like a Blockbuster.

was able to get Wet running on steam deck. I think Wet plays better

Wet and Oni are great (especially Oni) so if it plays anything like those games I'd buy it.

If you played devils third for Nintendo Wii or Wii u. forgot. The game is pretty much the same but combat is refined more. However, its not as smooth as Ninja Gaiden series.
i like mediocre games that feel like you just find it randomly at a store for ps3 but i also like 60 bucks

Yeah Oni is another good comparison. Both games have that Ghost in the Shell feel.

I swear some of the enemies feel like they belong in Ninja Gaiden and you are ill equipped to handle them here :olas:

As I said elsewhere, the Devil's Third comparison is obvious but it also has elements of WET and Deadpool with the mixture of sword and gunplay - gun kata. The cover system combined with AI controlled teammates makes me think of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The mini-games remind me of the Yakuza series. It feels janky but the combat is polished similar to Onechanbara.

It's like if you combined WET, Devil's Third, Oni, NeverDead, Shadows of the Damned, MindJack, the bizarreness of Deadly Premonition's cutscenes, and the beautifully written dialogue of The Room.
