Training Troops

Anyone know why my training camp isn't using the tools in the Warehouse? I have countless shields, armor, weapons stored, but my training camp says I have "zero" of each of them which is simply false. help anyone?

I'm not that far along yet. I did have a similar problem with a herbalist never using the herbs from the warehouse. What fixed it was clicking on 'supplies' button in the herbalist building. Then manually assigning the warehouse. After that my lazy herbalist finally got herbs.

Maybe your problem is similar. See if the training camp has a supply button.

You have to actually select the type of troop you want to train. That, my friend, is teh most awkward thing you will do at the training camp. Look below where it shows light armor units. There is a thin black box with some stats in it. Try clicking that bar area. It should then bring up a drop down box with available villagers shown in it. There will 2 arrows to the right side of that box. Select a person and then click on the now glowing arrow to move that person into a new training box that is empty. Once you select all you choose to or have equipment for, you will now notice the box at the bottom of the screen has had red x's next to equipment replaced by green checks. You will also see that the train button is now selectable as well. Hope this helped as it took me a long time to figure out how to use this camp. As a side note, try to make sure you select young people as your troops as they do die outside of combat as well. In the drop down for selection their age and occupation are shown so it helps avoid creating new issues as well if you are careful.
