Blacksmith is not getting Iron

There's a Warehouse next door with 30+ Iron in it, the Blacksmith is enabled for the Warehouse, and both the blacksmiths and the warehouse workers are idle, while a question mark is above the Blacksmith building indicate there are not enough resources.

Coal seems to be fine, it's really Iron that they very rarely go and get. It seemed to help to change the priority of Smithy goods from low to high or visa versa sometimes, but this doesn't always work.

On further investigation, this seems to happen when a blacksmith wants to do one of the more expensive jobs (in terms of resources) than currently available, while the logic of resource gathering says there are enough resources for a different job.

Scratch the former message, currently there are 6 coal, 0 iron and 2 leather in the Blacksmith, all recipes on Low Priority, and 28 Iron in the Warehouse next to it. Yet all are idling again.

We are looking into optimising the behaviour of the blacksmith to reduce the amount of such occurences.

Yeah, the blacksmith is destroying the iron I had in the warehouse. Shields are being done just fine, have no idea where if/where the tools are being delivered to and weapon parts just disappears together with the ingredients.
Game breaking bug for me.

I had the same problem. When I increased the storage space of the blacksmith, they begin to work again.

Same here. I set two blacksmiths with the "weapon parts" only priority. Coal and iron are being delivered but it just disappear over and over again. I can not train 5 archers and progress the story.

I solved the problem. I destroyed the buildings and changed the blacksmiths location. They're producing all good im telling them to :)

Same issues here :-( Cannot proceed with warriors due to this error, so i am kinda stuck in this game for now :-/ I really enjoy this game!

Anyone know when next update will be? Because it would also be nice to have more skills on the skill tree and maybe also more steam challenges to complete :-)

Any new fixes? I tried to increase storage but everything they're taking in, just disappears and nothing comes out. Sucks. Is destroying and rebuilding only option right now?

Build another, happened again. At this point game is unplayable for me. Sucks.

I'm having this problem as well, only it's with the shields. Hide is going in but just disappears along with the product it is meant to be making. If it's really that hard for them to fix bugs like this that are game breaking then they shouldn't have released it even in early access. Game breaking bugs clearly aren't being addressed, which is so disappointing because the game has so much potential. After my 4th play through I am yet again forced to put it to bed. Not sure I can face returning for fear of the same thing happening and waste my precious time. Friends have asked me about this game and contemplated investing in it but I simply can't recommend it any more.

Same issue. Blacksmith is consuming the parts but not producing the output.

Rebuilt the Blacksmith 3 times now. Each time I get one 'production' cycle and then back to consuming the resources and not producing. Game breaking bug as just cant progress.
