To fix the problem, follow these steps:
1. Open the Market prompt menu.
2. Go to the 'Supply' section and select 'All'.
In my case, the supply mode was set to 'Only Selected', but no suppliers were actually selected. This happened because clicking around in the menu can inadvertently change the supply mode.
To avoid this issue, the game should require users to click on a specific option to confirm the mode change or provide a warning prompt, such as: "Caution: You've chosen 'Only Selected' without selecting any suppliers. This will result in your market receiving no supplies and your population starving."
I hope this helps !
I have seen the same thing, I found that if I save, quit and reload it solves the issue. The downside of this is that everyone appears to drop what they are holding meaning there is work to recollect those resources.
