Also try and get a few level into the Everything Multiplier (and profession related upgrades on the bottom left of the transcendence tree). The Kiwi Gunner also provides a lot of auto clicks (especially if you max it out)
Try getting a large king combo with the Carpentry profession. i.e. if you kill the kinglings without killing the king, it will give you a increasing combo multiplier. It starts out low at 1.00, 1.08, etc. but if you can sustain it to 15-20+ it starts getting to 5x and higher (cap is 13x at around 30 in the combo). The way to do the combo is letting the kings build up until they start auto spawning (8 stored plus 1) and then focus on increasing your bag size and koin multiplier as much as possible and spawn a kingling by pressing the button whenever the king's health bar gets close to filling
Here
At this point in progression, you want to unlock the remaining Everything Increase multiplier, and the two king upgrades, then working on doing multiple runs to your multiplier up and progressing your Penances and more runs to further increase the multiplier.
I think you should be able to get 9-10K+ tokens in about 5-10 minutes in a Carpentry run by focusing keeping a king combo chain going for about 20-30 kings (as long as you have a decent Penance multiplier) (though others recommend Archery runs), keeping it running longer will net you way more tokens but once the chain ends, it's probably better to transcend
You can also start using shady peels to boost stations, but that can get very expensive and the Everything Multiplier is probably more valuable at this low token count.
In these sorts of clicker/idle games, multipliers that affect your rate of getting progression tokens (whatever term the game uses) are important to work on.
Also don't bother unlocking the Ki pieces yet. Once unlocked, they start at level 0 and then you have to do a Penance style run where your stations are locked to the Transcendence starting upgrade level and need to get a certain amount of tokens. You pretty much have to have the whole tree unlocked and a huge multiplier to even get 1 level in them
