How much money the kings give I BELIEVE is proportional to the level of the castle and the bags. So basically, if you figure out the class combination and strategy that gets the most money out of ONE king, it will let you get more kings and thus more money, until you stop making enough money to get more kings, at which point that penance is effectively over
