i heard the devs wanted to make this game as realistic as possible so i got a question when does the "realism" start cuz so far all i got is horrible recoil and enemies that have hitboxes only on their chest

The game is realistic in many aspects:

- The tactics of shooting the enemy, flanking and finishing him off.
- Lead units as squad leader.
- Prevent your units from getting seriously injured or dying. Because it is a tactical game, as well as strategic, you must be very careful with the decisions you make. A single mistake and you will be at a clear disadvantage against the enemy.
- Gun recoil is another realistic thing. All weapons have recoil and when trying to kill the enemy it will cost you for that reason.

Keep in mind this is not a Call of Duty, if you are looking for a game where you don't want to miss any bullets and have hardly any recoil then go there.

If you don't know what is realistic game then look at other games like Arma 3. That is also tactical, realistic, strategic game and also has recoil on weapons. Without forgetting that the game simulates real life.

How much you have to learn, friend.

This mod fixes the hitbox issues which the dev intentionally added to make the game harder.

This is an awesome mod, it only affects the hit box on the enemy. I was considering Rendroc's War Zone mod but I didn't want to get too crazy, as the videos of that mod seem to have a lot going on............

But will this mod work in Road To Hill 30?? I just finished that one again, for like the 4th time..............

tired of people saying the recoil and aiming in this game is "realistic" if this were the case nobody would have died via gun shot in WWII because apparently rifles cant hit someone dead centre at 5ft.

I question how many of you people ever fired a gun lol. You all rush to this games defence yet if guns really acted like this in real life nobody would ever die from one because you can stand 5ft away from a German with a Kar98K and aim dead centre to the chest and it will somehow miss.

The realism leans more onto the tactics as opposed to the gunplay.

You lead your squad. Most of your time should be spent trying to get your squad into positions rather than going as a one man army. If you want this sort of thing, just play COD.
haha I just played it for nostalgia, then unistalled after mission 1. I go to the part in mission 2 where there's a german guy on a wall. Easiest headshot ever, I'm popping hard at his fat head, he just runs off. Gameplay doesn't hold up, I'm afraid.

Funny thing is, it's actually worse than the first game, (in my opinion.) I remember doing the first one, enjoying it, playing this years ago and being disgusted at how backwards it felt. I deleted it then too.

I guess this was fun when I was 12 years old, but dated now. Really strange because I LOVE early COD and MOH games! This just feels like terrible hit detection, but really it's that awful gameplay system of things like suppression. Standing infront of them, hammering rounds into them, and they either sponge, or run through rounds, feels wrong.

I bet you I play this again in 5 years and somehow LOVE it.

I know you're not bashing a 20 year old game for not being realistic enough... lmao
